Acrylics are an exciting and extremely versatile medium to use. Heavy bodied, intense colour, water based and quick drying, they have a wide variety of uses and applications – a popular choice for artists.

Acrylic paints are heavy bodied, semi-permanent, water- based, low odour and quick drying. They are intense in colour, and consist of pigment suspended in a plastic binder. They can be thinned with water, but also mixed with a wide range of gels, pastes and other mediums for a whole array of painting techniques, from Impasto (thicker layers of paint to build a relief on the canvas) to thin washes and glazes!
