Sea and Sails
Painting a nautical scene of sea and sail boats, with an illustrative feel, reminiscent of vintage seaside travel posters. Using a combination of watercolour and gouache, you can create all kinds of effects.
Learn to add washes for light reflection, choose and use colour effectively, use aerial perspective and brush stroke techniques to paint water. Add detail using gouache- a thicker, heavy bodied water based paint
