An Illustrative project taking influence from the drawings of John Ruskin – influential art critic, watercolourist & draughtsman of the Victorian era. Famous for his watercolour and pen and ink sketches of Venice.
We will begin with drawing, then adding warm watercolour washes for stone, plaster and shadow. Add detail to the ornate carvings using pen and ink with pastel.
