Watercolour is simply colour pigment suspended in water. It can be both precise and random, from meticulous botanical painting to free ﬂowing compositions harnessing the ﬂuidity of water and pigment, and everything in between! This makes it an exciting medium to use as it cannot be fully controlled, which of course is the very nature of its beauty; the results can be very diverse, but always interesting and rewarding!

We have a range of watercolour courses suitable for all levels!

For beginners:– It’s easy to get oﬀ on the wrong foot with watercolour, but is a joy if you get a good grounding. The basics of watercolour is the perfect introduction, which has expert guidance on materials and step by step demos of techniques to get you started and build conﬁdence. Mini courses have the basics ad an additional step by step project video. Once you have mastered the basics, put your new skills into practise with a complete painting from start to ﬁnish!

For Improvers:– Or choose a watercolour course, for a longer, fully immersive collection of videos for deepening knowledge. Work at your own pace, practise and hone your skills with expert step by step guidance! Each video course includes several video projects and exercises, with over 6 hours of in depth instruction. Diﬀerent approaches and techniques keep the projects interesting and ideas fresh, building a positive experience and love of watercolour painting to take your art to the next level.
